To the workers and employees of oil industry

Dear friends,

It is the war which instigates us to address you - the war which roll now through the world as a ball of snow. The rulers, the bankers and the bosses of all countries begin a new struggle for repartition of the Earth and his resources, not in last turn of oil resources. The oil is blood of the whole industrial system, without it the modern economy can’t exist. This struggle for oil resources force the USA and his allies now to send the armies in
the region of Persian golf in the hope to encroach the oil of Iraq.

From this war can gain only the tomorrow’s owners of «black gold» resources in Iraq. And the common people – like you and we – suffer as always. But the oil isn’t the cause of the war only. It is also a mean for hinder it. The military activities in Persian golf can temporally reduce the quantity of oil supplied for international market. Therefore the initiators of war make all in their possibility for compensate this deficiency, otherwise they can’t keep the military activities. Whereas Russia promised to increase the oil supplies to foreign countries if the war lead to scarcity. Therefore we address now to you, Russian oil workers: you have the force for hinder it and in such a manner for hinder to keep this war!

The International Workers Association, the international union of workers unions created 1922, called yet the oil workers of different countries (Norway, Britain etc.) for no increase in the production of oil in the case of war in Persian golf! We ask for same thing the workers and employees of oil industry in Russia. Only the coherent actions of workers of world can stop the constant authors of new bloody conflicts.
