From the Secretariat of the IWA we make public this international declaration of solidarity with the workers of the world on May 1 in memory of the Martyrs of Chicago.
This year marks the 135th anniversary of the Haymarket revolt, Chicago (USA) in 1886, where the police and judicial authorities repressed the general strike called by the labor movement in defense of the 8-hour workday.

Este año se cumplen 135 años de la revuelta de Haymarket, Chicago (EEUU) en 1886, donde las autoridades policiales y judiciales reprimieron la huelga general convocada por el movimiento obrero en defensa de la jornada laboral de 8 horas.
Wie ein Teil der libertären Bewegung bereits erfahren hat, befindet sich die CNT-IAA seit einigen Jahren im Würgegriff einer Organisation, die sich als anarchosyndikalistisch bezeichnet und sich ebenfalls CNT [Confederación Nacional del Trabajo] nennt.

Das Internationale Sekretariat der IAA möchte hiermit öffentlich eine Reihe von Angriffen verurteilen, welche ihre Sektionen in verschiedenen Teilen der Welt seit Jahren erleiden müssen. Wieder einmal sind wir gezwungen unsere internationale Organisation gegen solche Aggressionen zu verteidigen.
Desde el secretariado de la AIT (Asociación Internacional de las Trabajadoras) queremos denunciar públicamente una serie de ataques que desde hace algunos años están recibiendo nuestras secciones en diversas partes del mundo. Una vez más, nos vemos obligados a defender a nuestra organización internacional de agresiones similares.
The International Secretariat of the IWA (International Workers Association) wants to publicly condemn a series of attacks that our sections have been suffering for many years in several parts of the world. Once again, we are forced to defend our international organization from similar aggressions.
Como ya sabe parte del movimiento libertario, desde hace varios años la CNT-AIT se enfrenta a un proceso de asfixia por parte de una organización que se dice anarcosindicalista y que también se hace llamar CNT.
As part of the libertarian movement already knows, for several years now the CNT-AIT faces a process of suffocation by an organization that calls itself “anarcho-syndicalist” and also claims the name of CNT. The individuals and anarchist groups that feel that they are not part of anarcho-syndicalism perceive this situation with some suspicion, with skepticism and even with a bit of irony.
Nosotros, anarquistas y anarcosindicalistas, consideramos que es completamente inaceptable para nosotros participar en espectáculos políticos organizados por partidarios del populista de derecha Navalny, que es tristemente "famoso" por su actitud abiertamente nacionalista, antiinmigrante, anti-caucásica y sus declaraciones antisemitas. Marchar en las filas de las manifestaciones que convocaron significaría -independientemente de las excusas o "explicaciones"- convertirse en el apoyo de una de las bandas políticas que libran una lucha sucia y sin principios por el poder.
